Born in Cuba, Dr. Sandra Pupo's dream of becoming a doctor ignited at a young age, amid the colorful toy medical kits she played with. Her passion for patient care propelled her through rigorous medical training, where she graduated from the University of Medicine in Santiago de Cuba. With over 20 years of family medicine experience, Dr. Pupo immersed herself in global health while working in Africa, which profoundly expanded her clinical perspective. She then emigrated to the United States, bringing with her a rich tapestry of experiences that blended her past with her future.

In the U.S., Dr. Pupo enhanced her skills as a Registered Nurse, spending a decade in the Emergency Room and two years in trauma care. Her journey didn’t stop there; she became a Nurse Practitioner, combining her diverse medical expertise to craft a compassionate, integrative approach to patient care. From the very start, her commitment has been towards helping those who found themselves disillusioned

with mainstream medicine, particularly those battling chronic pain, disease, and even more severe conditions like cancer.

At Divine Health Miami, Dr. Pupo has made it her mission to empower patients who have often been told there are no other options left.
